The MAC Staff and Board of Directors requests MAC members to submit works of art in all media from visual to performance art and literary reading relating to the theme Trans-.
The Membership Exhibition will open with a reception for the artists Saturday, August 4th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The exhibition will run through September 1st.
The Annual Membership Exhibition is one of the cornerstones of the spirit and mission of The MAC – providing a place for creative expression and vigorous dialogue between artists and patrons of the arts. The Annual Membership Exhibition celebrates emerging and established artistic talent in Dallas and surrounding areas. Each year a theme for the exhibition is selected by The MAC staff and Board of Directors. Previous themes include: Meltdown, Border, XV, and Gastronomia: erótica y estimulante.

Notification and Return of Work
You are responsible for picking up or arranging pick up of your artwork after the exhibition.
The dates and times that The MAC will be open for art pick-up are:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday September 5th – 7th from 11am to 6pm
Saturday, September 8th from 11am to 9pm
Due to limited storage space, if your work still remains after September 8th The MAC is not liable for loss or damage to your work.
ALL sales will be conducted through The MAC.
If your piece is purchased you will receive an email notification and a check from The MAC. If you chose to donate a percentage, that amount will be removed from the total sales price.
The MAC is not responsible for the loss or damage of works while in transit. The MAC reserves the right to reproduce images of artwork in the 2012 Membership Exhibition on The MAC website and in any Membership Exhibition advertising or collateral associated with the exhibition. Submission of work to the exhibit indicates acceptance of conditions stated above.
