2-3pm: Jeff Gibbons will discuss his current exhibition, Humming Music and Grinding Teeth
This exhibition focuses on an individual’s life long search for identity. Gibbons is interested in the many layers of self-identity, how it is formed and how it is, or is not, understood by the individual. This concept manifests into a visual exhibition of various objects that serve as metaphors for the passage of time. The video component is a psychological exploration into memory and states of being within the banality or action of day to day life.
