Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA), Creative Arts Center (CAC), The McKinney Avenue Contemporary (The MAC), and now the Business Council for the Arts (BCA) and the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), are pleased to announce their collaboration called The Business of Art. The workshop series, which began in April 2014, offers professional development topics for artists pursuing careers in the fine arts business.

Presentations offer guidance through all phases of the public art process, from finding a call for artists and selection panels, to contracts, insurance and conservation. Participants will receive in-depth information and public art resource materials from the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs.

The Bowdon Family Foundation, City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs and Texas Commission on the Arts have provided financial support for this event.
